Create some balance.
Follow the Rule of Thirds. Off to the outer edge or at a cross point is usually more interesting.
Frame your subject.
Create interest or focus with negative space.
Look for patterns.
Allow the viewer to follow in a direction.
Showcase interesting lines.
Have a point of focus and blur the background.
Reflections are beautiful. Find them.
Straighten the horizon line.
Sometimes tree shade is good, sometimes it’s not.
