1.Create some balance.
2.Follow the Rule of Thirds. Off to the outer edge or at a cross point is usually more interesting.
3.Frame your subject.
4.Create interest or focus with negative space.
5.Look for patterns.
6.Allow the viewer to follow in a direction.
7.Showcase interesting lines.
8.Have a point of focus and blur the background.
9.Reflections are beautiful. Find them.
10.Straighten the horizon line.
11.Sometimes tree shade is good, sometimes it’s not. Mottled light can be distracting.
12. Create triangles.
13. Color wheel opposites are interesting. Red and green here.
