What a beautiful idea! It’s raining cats and dogs right now. The water runoff from streets, sidewalks, and people’s drive-ways filled with oil, fertilize, pesticides, pet waste and litter needs a place to go to get cleaned up. Wetlands plants store and transform pollutants. Just saw this today. I turned my car around and parked just to see it up close. The plants look important!
Smart and beautiful way to stop our primary source of pollution in Florida.
These parking lots that “breathe water” are also amazing. They have brinks with spaces in between for water to percolate into the ground to reduce runoff and improve stormwater drainage.

In our neighborhood we have spotted several kinds of pervious parking pavements.
